OH WHAT A YEAR!!

Well, 2008 was one heck of a ride for us. We bought a new place 15 miles Yakima so Ashley could stay home and go to college at the same time. After we got all moved in it was time to go Elk scouting, what fun! We had a jeep grand cherokee we used just for this. Well my husband accidently rolled us off the road into a waterfall ravine that goes to the Tieton river , we came to a stop upside down and in the waterfall! We have U.S.Cell, but the coverage where we were was spotty at best. As we climb out my broken window, (that was the only way out, and thank God wasn't too smashed in) I was hoping that we had service up on the road, we needed help ASAP. As it turned out we had service in that spot, but if we moved 2 yards away we did not. I called Mom to let her know what happened so she wouldn't freak when she found out I had to go to the hospital. I called Ashley, because she new exactly where we had our game cams at and told her what happened and to clean out the car and come up to help us. Then I called for help. It took to big tow, tow trucks to get the jeep up and out of the hole, we were asked several times by several people, how did you people get out? God, that's how! My husbands birthday was the next day and I had planned a surprise birthday party for him a month before, and now i was on the way to the hospital. They kept me for 5 hours, then let me go. I have 5 nice goose eggs on my head. I called everyone and asked for help with the party, and had to tell my husband about it, because now I needed his help too. I became a Grandmother for the second time this year on Oct. 15 with another Grandson, also named Joshua. I lost alot of wieght during all of this and had to have extensive blood work done. Everything but my liver was 100% perfect. My liver is 1 point high due to rapid weight loss, and is leveling out, so back in 6 months for another blood test to make sure it is ok. We got a new durango, since we totaled our jeep and traded in our 5th. wheel for a travel trailer for hunting. And now here we are in 2009:)

IN LOVING MEMORY OF A VERY SPECIAL PUG

Below is a picture of Dusty as a pup.
To the left is Dusty at Christmas.
Dusty was one of my many pug pup's.
I gave him to my Mother and Step Father when
he was 6 weeks old.
He will be truly, lovingly, missed by us all.
Dusty was born July 18, 2004 & passed away May 16, 2008.
